-Inflate tires to the manufacturer’s recommended maximum psi during storage to avoid flat spots.
-Another way to Prevent flat spots on tires is by storing the vehicle on jack stands or adding a cushion under the tires. This will relieve any constant pressure on the suspension.
-Leave refrigerator doors and cabinets open during storage to prevent mold and odors.
-Vehicles left for extended periods should be stored with a full tank of gas and an appropriate fuel stabilizer. Adding the stabilizer will stop any moisture from building in the tanks.
-Wheels should be chocked and the parking brake should be off
-Check all seals and seams for any damages. Replace any broken lines or hoses before storing to get on with your adventures when is gets warmer.
-Plug pipes and openings with bronze wool to prevent rodents
-Close blinds and shades to avoid sun damage to upholstery. Sunlight will fade and crack any upholstery that is in contact with direct rays.
-Empty water tanks and use antifreeze
-Disconnect battery
-Keep uncovered vents closed to avoid bugs
